Enyimba International Football Club has earned no point in the group stage of the 2016 CAF Champions League after playing two matches but goalkeeper, Moses Ocheje, insists that the ‘Peoples Elephants’ can still make it out of the group stage.
Paul Aigbogun’s men sit at the rear of Group B with no point after a 1-0 home loss to Zamalek SC and a 2-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa.
Ocheje said: “It’s game on and I don’t think we are out yet. We didn’t start well but that doesn’t mean that we can’t make it out of the Group. Did anyone gave us a chance against Etoile du Sahel?
“But because we believed in ourselves and trust God to see us through, we came back victorious.
“We know that the only option left for us right now is to win in Egypt and win at home against Sundowns and that’s achievable with quality we have in the team.”
