Thirty two ships are expected in Lagos ports with food items, petroleum products and other goods from April 21 to May 8.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication, ‘Shipping Position’ made available to newsmen in Lagos on Wednesday.
According to the document, 12 of the expected ships will sail in with containers, while nine others will arrive with rice, bulk sugar, frozen fish, buckwheat and crude palmolein.
It stated that six ships would come into the ports with general cargo, while the remaining five ships were expected to arrive with petrol, base oil and kerosene.
The document stated that 19 ships had arrived at the ports waiting to berth with rice, bulk malt, frozen fish, crude palm oil, base oil, kerosene, petrol, diesel and aviation fuel.
