Rights abuse: EFCC seals off suspects’ property in Kaduna illegally

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the weekend began an unconstitutional, illegal abuse and trampling on the property rights of some accused persons, sealing off some of the property they own at different locations in Kaduna, unconfirmed reports said.

So far, nobody has been convicted yet in the $2.1 billion arms deal scandal, hence the red alert alarms of foul play against the anti-corruption agency because it is resorting to unlawful self-help without a competent court’s order.
