2Baba formally introduces fiancée Natasha to townsfolk after divorce from Annie Macaulay

By Jeph Ajobaju, Chief Copy Editor

Singer 2Baba (born Innocent Idibia) has formally introduced fiancée Natasha Osawaru to his townspeople, a sign of his resolve to keep his girl over earlier objection from his mother Rose, and also signposting their wedding may be imminent, just a few months after his divorce from Annie.

Annie Idibia has since reverted to her maiden name, Macaulay.

2Baba and Natasha have been captured on tape shopping for wedding dress in Abuja.

The introduction to his Idoma traditional leadership and elders took place during the Idoma Nation Peace and Unity Symposium at the Och’Idoma Palace in Otukpo.

2Baba presented Natasha, former Edo Assembly Deputy Majority Leader, to the Och’Idoma V, and other assembled kinsmen.

He and his heartthrob then proceeded to Okpokwu, his ancestral hometown in Benue, where he introduced her to local elders and community members, reaffirming his commitment and seeking familial endorsement to marry Natasha.

The public introduction follows 2Baba’s recent proposal to Natasha shortly after announcing his separation from wife Annie and their subsequent divorce.
