TheNiche had earlier reported that Nigeria will face the Crocodiles of Lesotho in a 2026 FIFA World World Cup qualifying matchday nine fixture at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane on Friday

A draw or defeat in the encounter could end the Super Eagles’ slim chances of qualifying for the global soccer fiesta if South Africa or Benin Republic win their games.

Speaking ahead of the match, Chelle admitted that anything can happen in a football match.
