Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has lampooned the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for also copying bus initiative by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
“I used to think @Microsoft invented copy and paste, but now I think that honour should go to the Buhari government. First, the @MBuhari administration and the @OfficialAPCNg copied the manifesto. Now they have copied #BusesForDemocracy. Why can’t these guys just be original?” Murray-Bruce said on social media.
According to him, the APC has appropriated the initiative which was meant to convey voters to their various polling stations following the cancellation of the elections last week.
The initiative was meant to encourage those who would have expended their money in travelling to their various states to vote but could not due to the cancellation.
He said by donating buses to willing voters, the PDP would encourage good turnout during the polls.
