Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has made assurance double sure for his girlfriend, Chioma, by taking her to his hometown in Osun State to meet their traditional ruler, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, for his blessings.
In a video posted on YouTube, Davido and Chioma were seen entering the palace of the Ooni with a convoy of police personnel. Fans were heard calling out the singer as he arrived at the palace.
The singer was seen prostrating before the Ooni for the traditional blessing before marriage.
The duo broke the internet when Davido gifted Chioma a N45 million Porsche this May for her 23rd birthday.
Chioma Avril Rowland, also known as Chioma Chef, is from Imo State. The 23-year-old 300 level student of Babcock University, Ogun State, has been with Davido before his debut single, Dami Duro back in 2011.
Davido has two daughters, Aurora Imade born to him by Sophie Momodu and Hailey Veronica by Amanda.
