The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took its rally to Anambra, the home state of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, today, December 15.
Atiku earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo at the Government House, Awka, before heading to the campaign venue.
The rally, held at Ekwueme Square, Awka, attracted PDP faithful and an unexpectedly large number of supporters. Anambra is the home state of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and the centre of gravity for his campaign.
Vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party and Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, interacted with the rally attendees in the native Igbo language. Okowa is from the Igbo-speaking part of Delta State. He reiterated Atiku’s promise to set aside $10 billion towards supporting small and medium-scale enterprises to boost trade in the state.

Atiku also repeated the promise and assured that the trading hub of the South East would benefit immensely from the $10 billion revitalization fund for small and medium-scale enterprises.
In Atiku’s entourage is a top chieftain of the party, Professor Ben Obi and the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr Iyorchia Ayu among others.
