Verve unveils transparent debit card with Wema Bank

Verve has launched a transparent debit card, in partnership with Wema Bank, giving consumers the full benefits of a payment card while adopting a trendy translucent look.

Verve International Country Manager, Oremeyi Akah, said it offers the same benefits and rewards consumers associate with Verve card.

“Consumers can still transfer and receive money from family and friends, update subscriptions, pay bills, make withdrawals and so much more with the transparent debit card.

“Wema Bank is the first Nigerian bank to utilise the transparent material for a Verve card, we also expect other banks to issue the card shortly,” she added.

In another development, VDT Communications, a provider of broadband communication service to corporate organisations, has hosted a forum for customers and unveiled a new corporate identity to the public.

The event offers a platform for VDT to interact with customers and flag-off the new identity that will help improve its image, performance, and customer service.

VDT holds customers’ forum yearly to forge a close bond, review performance, and relationship with customers in the preceding year and brief them on measures to ensure greater service excellence in the future.

The company has made achievements in the past one year servicing companies in Nigeria with terrestrial network infrastructure comprising Digital Leased Circuit (DLC), Metro Wireless, Metro Fiber Optics to deliver Internet, Data Connectivity and Voice Services via MPLS.

It provides a broad range of end-to-end, customised, IP-based (data and voice communications) services across West Africa while building a long term partnership with its clients.

VDT, an ISO 9001:2008 internationally certified company, is run by young enterprising Nigerian professionals.
