Boboye said he believes his team would have won the encounter if they had not been denied a penalty during the game

Sunshine Stars manager, Kennedy Boboye has heaped praises on his players after they secured a goalless draw against Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
The Ondo State based team’s technical adviser, who noted teamwork earned his team the draw, also claimed they were unfortunate not to get a penalty in the game.
He, however, commended his players for sticking to the plan throughout the encounter.

Speaking after the match, Boboye said: “I give kudos to the boys, everybody worked so hard which I am very happy about,” he said in a post-match interview.
“The boys were just unlucky not to have gotten a penalty in the game.
“I have no fear in me that we might lose the match because the players played to the plan throughout the encounter.”
With the hard earned draw, Sunshine Stars moved to 12th position on the league table.
