Solomon Buchi says “adulterous” Yul Edochie mocks ministry calling, must repent!!

Social commentator Solomon Buchi has called out actor Yul Edochie over his claimed of being called into Gospel ministry, saying he is making a caricature of Christianity because an unrepentant adulterer and polygamist cannot be a Pastor.
Buchi questioned the basis for Yul’s alleged God’s calling to the pastoral ministry and asked a series of questions about the Church he attends and who discipled him.
The depth of ridicule into which the Church has sunk in recent times is highlighted by the report of an investigation by the BBC published in January that TB Joshua, the late founder and Pastor of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), sexually and physically abused members of the Church – including his own daughter – for decades until his death in 2021.
And just last week, Feyi Daniels, founder and Pastor of “I Reign Christian Ministry”, was found guilty of “raping church members” and sentenced to life imprisonment by an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court.

Yul mocking the pulpit with adultery and polygamy
Buchi recounted how Yul has been embroiled in adultery and polygamy for the past months which make him unfit to preach the Gospel without repentance and healing.
He tweeted: “Yul Edochie is making a caricature of the Christian faith. From cheating on his wife, getting another woman pregnant and being caught, to claiming polygamy is normal and okay, and now to open a ‘ministry’ claiming God called him.
“No doubt, God can call anyone, but there’s a whole structure to the logistics of starting a ministry.
“Who is Yul Edochie’s spiritual father? What church does he even currently attend? Who discipled him?
“In the past months, he’s been involved in adultery and polygamy, which the Lord can forgive, but why is his ministry launched so close to a vulnerable season, for which he needs repentance and healing?
“Yul has been through quite a lot in the past months, and he might need intensive mental care. This charade isn’t helping and all he needs is Jesus and reflective time to morph into a better man.
“It’s hard to tell if his ‘ministry’ is sarcastic or real, but whatever it is, it is still embarrassing to the Christian faith. Get your life and family together first, Yul”.
