9. Chaos
The day is moving against things of time,
Things of time against the day,
The mirage world
Will end in enchanted obsequies.
Disappointments and illusions
Walk into life,
Cutting the bones,
And sucking the marrows of the earth.
In the chaos
That hangs below the Sun,
Swim the lyrics
Of our end.
In the dawn of dawn,
The night of nights,
The beginning and the end
Will in satanic wedlock interlock.
That season
Will look for the screened
Tongues who said nothing
Beyond echoes.
10. Privation
On us descend
While our bells chime.
From the almighty basin,
Drip onto us.
The sky is falling,
The moons have changed hands,
From between the troubled clouds,
Save our souls.
Cast,
Oh! Cast away
The fogs of the end
Descending in our morning.
Hasten
Before the world
Hangs on a tree.
The chicks are coming back,
The children are around,
The mothers’ fireplaces are unlit,
This is night and a night.
