Towards ensuring regulatory efficiency and seamless communication, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has set January 9, 2025 deadline for all licensees to submit their updated contact information through the Commission’s eServices platform. Failing to adhere to the directive may lead to sanctions against affected licensees.
The mandate is in line with the Commission’s commitment to maintaining effective regulatory framework that ensures transparency and accountability in the telecommunications sector.
The directive is in line with the provisions of the Licensing Regulations 2019, which mandate that licensees to report changes to their contact details within seven days of occurrence.
The aim is to ensures that the commission keeps accurate and up-to-date records for effective communication and oversight in the industry.

Licensees are required to provide or update the following critical details:
1. Physical Address: This should include the complete address of the principal place of business, along with its postcode, geographic coordinates, and nearby landmarks for easy identification.
2. Mailing Address: If different from the physical address, licensees must provide a separate mailing address for correspondence.
3. Email Addresses and Telephone Numbers: Accurate and active email addresses and phone contacts are crucial for official communication between the NCC and licensees.
4. Details of Contact Personnel: Licensees must include the names, roles, and contact information of authorized personnel responsible for regulatory communication with the NCC.
To update their contact information, licensees are advised to visit the NCC eServices platform at https://eservices.ncc.gov.ng. Compliance with this directive is vital for facilitating efficient regulatory processes and fostering transparency within the telecommunications sector, NCC stressed.
