LP doesn’t want Obi dragged, because he focused on reclaiming his ‘stolen mandate’ at Supreme Court

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) should not drag Peter Obi into his knock-down and drag-out fracas with Bola Tinubu over his certificate scandal, the Labour Party (LP) has pleaded, saying its presidential candidate is solely focused on reclaiming his “stolen mandate” at the Supreme Court.
LP National Publicity Secretary Obiora Ifoh said the party will, however, welcome any interest that helps amplify its quest for a nation where true justice reigns.
The LP was reacting to Atiku’s call on Thursday for Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to join his crusade in exposing the allegation of certificate forgery by the President.
“The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, is presently in the Supreme Court seeking to reclaim his stolen mandate and he is focused on that,” Ifoh clarified in a statement issued in Abuja.”

Obi fighting for justice and credible leadership
“He has been in the vanguard of ensuring a just nation where justice must be the watchword, and he will not stop until Nigeria achieves the leadership it truly deserves. Obi has pontificated on the need for leaders to be good role models and live a life worthy of emulation,” Ifoh added, per Vanguard reporting.
“This he has done by publicly putting his credentials in the open for verification. Nigeria will get better when men of integrity and honour drive the affairs of the nation.
“We therefore welcome every other interest willing to join us in our pursuit of a nation where justice shall reign.”
