BBNaija Daniella thanks folks for rallying round her, says she’s now okay
Former BBNaija housemate Daniella Peters has expressed appreciation to fans, admirers, and others for their concern for her safety after her ordeal at the hands of a cab driver who attempted to abduct her in Abuja, saying she is now okay.
She narrowly escaped the kidnapers on June 21.
Daniella shared a video on Instagram in which she thanked members of the public for their prompt response to her Saved Our Souls (SOS) message.
“Hello everyone, I am making this video to address my last post concerning near kidnapping experience that I encountered last week Friday,” she said.
“I want to thank everyone who has shown concern by commenting, calling and tagging the necessary organisations to ensure that this matter was handled urgently.
“I have been to the police station and back to the hospital. I thank the police for handling this matter thoroughly. As we speak the cab driver has confessed to everything I said.”
Daniella captioned the video: “I’m now safe and recovering. God bless you all. Be safe.”
She recounted she booked the cab, became suspicious of the driver’s movements on the ride, then he refused to stop upon her request.
She said she jumped out of the moving vehicle and received injuries for which she was later treated.
