Actor, Sisi Quadri laid to rest amid tears in Iwo, Osun State

Sisi Quadri, who died on Friday at the age of 44, was buried on Saturday according to Muslim rites at about 1pm

Popular Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebanji better known as Sisi Quadri, has been buried.

He was laid to rest in his hometown of Iwo in Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State and was buried according to Muslim rites at about 1pm on Saturday.

TheNiche had earlier reported that the actor died on Friday at the age of 44 and that his death was revealed by some of his colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry.

Confirming his death, Nollywood actress, Abiola Bayo wrote on her verified Instagram handle, “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”

Also announcing his demise via his Instagram page, the President of the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan aka Mr Latin, prayed for the actor. 

He wrote: “Hmmmmm! May God grant him eternal rest.”

Taking to various social media platforms his fans also joined in to mourn the actor, with some posting scenes of movies he featured in.

Sis Quadri was renowned for his exceptional comedic talent and his ability to deliver cutting insults with finesse.
