Former Real Madrid manager and ex-France international, Zinedine Zidane has said he is not interested in managing Al-Nassr, despite being out of job.

According to Footmercato, the Saudi Arabia club, which signed Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo after his contract was terminated by Manchester United a few months ago, offered Zidane a mouth watering two-year contract.

However, the Frenchman, who has been linked with several clubs and a country rejected the deal said to be worth €150million.

Zidane was reported to be keen on taking over at a major club in Europe’s top five leagues, although it remains to be seen whether that opportunity will present itself in the summer or the near future.

The 50-year-old who was a midfield maestro in his playing days, has not taken charge of any other club since he left La Liga giants, Real Madrid, in 2021.

Across his two spells at Los Blancos, he won 11 major trophies, which included three UEFA Champions League (UCL) titles in succession between 2016 and 2018.

Zidane was the favourite for the France job before the FFF decided to renew Didier Deschamps’ contract, while Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have also been rumoured with having interest in Zizou.
