Zenith Bank lights up Ajose Adeogun ahead of Christmas

One of Nigeria’s frontline banks, Zenith has lit up Ajose Adeogun Street, home to their head office in Nigeria.

The Zenith Bank chose the theme, Let There Be Light’ in this year’s celebration to mark the 15th year it has consistently done so.

From the onset of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which stalled the annual event from holding last year, this year’s ceremony signals the return of a sight that has come to be recognized by not only residents of Lagos but Nigerians in general as an iconic place and tourist attraction every yuletide due to the decorations in the length and breadth of the street.

In a press release, Zenith Bank said it is committed to promoting tourism which has come to be the hallmark of the annual decorations.

The lighting ceremony was performed by the Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc, Mr Ebenezer Onyeagwu and was supported by the Executive Management.

The event saw thousands of Zenith Bank staff and customers joining virtually and through the bank’s social media platforms.

Onyeagwu praised Quantum the company responsible for the decorations.“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the EndSARS protests. According to him, “last year was a very unusual year.
