Yul Edochie, actor and son of Nollywood legend, Pete Edochie, says crowdfunding is a way of realizing his presidential ambition

The son of Nollywood legend, who is also an actor, Yul Edochie, has taken to social media to praise singer, Davido, for initiating a crowdfunding initiative.
The singer had earlier asked his fans, friends, and family to pay N1 million each, into his account to show solidarity.
Yul Edochie, while commending the talented musician, noted that he has proved that it is indeed possible to raise funds in Nigeria.

The presidential hopeful went on to say lack of funds is the barrier limiting most youths vying for the position of the president in the country.
According to the 39-year-old actor, elections are generally won with billions of naira, and crowdfunding is a way of mitigating funding issues for young aspirants.
The Nollywood star concluded by asking his fans for money and thanked them in advance for donating, as he posted :
“This Davido new trend good oo. Celebrities need money too abeg.
If I’ve made you happy over the years through my films send me money make I jolly. God will bless you.

He also added:
“To all my fans and friends, together we can do this. Please send proof of transaction when you credit, for appreciation. Thank you.”
