Yul Edochie chastised Musa for copying his post without acknowledging him as the author, arguing that he should have done the needful

Nigerian actor and producer, Yul Edochie has accused Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa of theft of intellectual property.
The thespian slammed the footballer for sharing his post on the Academic Staff Union of University’s lingering strike and how unconcerned politicians in the country are without crediting him as the author.
Ahmed Musa took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, July 12, to chastise politicians in the country for allowing the university academic staff strike to continue for months.
The winger wondered how they feel when they travel abroad to visit their children in tertiary institutions knowing universities in Nigeria are under lock.

The post which has since then gone viral on social media left many applauding the footballer for having the temerity to speak out.
Musa wrote, “To our political office holders whose children school abroad. How do you feel visiting your children abroad taking pictures in their schools and posting online while ASUU is on strike?” he wrote.
“Like seriously, how is it ok to you? You’re running a system that you don’t even believe in. Show me one Oyibo leader whose child is schooling in Nigeria.
“E no dey touch una? And when you return, Nigerian youths will still gather and sing praises for una.”
Reacting, Yul Edochie asserted he wrote the statement posted by the football star and stressed he has no issue with him using his write up.
He, however, frowned at the fact that Ahmed Musa shared the post, without acknowledging him as the original writer.

“My brother Ahmed Musa munch am post for him own page without giving me credit for it. e good?”
“We all want a working Nigeria. Nothing wrong with copy and paste, but you should give credit to the writer.” Yul said.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) embarked on strike on February 14 over the Federal Government’s failure to honour their agreement, the nation’s public universities have been shut since then.
