There are indications that all is not well between two former colleagues,  Barcelona boss, Xavi Hernandez and their veteran defender, Gerard Pique.

According to Sport, the duo clashed at the away section of the dressing room in front of the remaining members of the squad during their 2-0 Champions League loss to Bundesliga giant, Bayern Munich.

Xavi was said to have shut down Pique in the away dressing room after he said, “I don’t even play petanque”, alluding to the few minutes he’s played so far this season.

According to the report, this was overheard by the not so pleased coach who became incensed and responded to the comment by the Spanish international forcefully.

The Barcelona legend and current gaffer, stopped him short by saying, “And you’re not going to get that at all”.

Pique then chose the part of peace by not responding to his former teammate, with the rest of the squad falling silent, while the dressing room became as quiet as the graveyard.
