Arsenal legend and English TV personality, Ian Wright, has lamented the decision of former Manchester City forward, Cole Palmer to sign for Chelsea instead of his former club.
Palmer was in action on Sunday evening when Liverpool beat Chelsea 1-0 during extra time to lift this year’s Carabao Cup at Wembley Stadium.
The 21-year-old England international arrived at Stamford Bridge from the Etihad in a £40m deal last summer.
Since then, he has scored 10 Premier League goals and 12 in all competitions

Palmer during this period also earned his first two England caps.
Speaking on the former Manchester City star on ‘Wrighty’s House’ podcast, Wright said he wished Arsenal snatched him from London rivals, Chelsea.
He went on to describe him as a better version of ex-Citizen’s winger, Riyad Mahrez.
He said: “I wish we (Arsenal) did (signed Palmer).
“I don’t want to say who I’d have had him in for, but I’d have loved to have had Cole Palmer.
“I heard someone saying something that he’s like [Riyad] Mahrez, but he’s not that player; he has so much more.”
