Women in Sports in Nigeria say former vice-president Atiku Abubakar has been a promoter of youths and sports development

Women in sports in Nigeria led by former Africa and Nigeria triple jump champion, Rosa Collins Okah, has Congratulated former -Vice President Alhaji Abubakar Atiku who turns 74 today, November 25.

In her congratulatory message obtained by TheNiche, Collins Okah said the former Vice President’s life has been exemplary in the area of sports and youth development and demanded that God should spare Atiku’s life for future development of Youth based infrastructures in Nigeria.

“I Congratulate you for turning 74 looking healthy and fit. May God continues to preserve your life for more achievement in sports especially, women in sports”.

Collins Okah averred that the age of 74 in an environment charged with insecurity and unsupportive of sports and youth development, calls for prompt attention of people like the Turaki Adamawa.

The People’s Democratic Party Sports leader pleaded that Sports should be on the front burner of every administration especially women.

Meanwhile, the women in sports in Nigeria prayed that God should sustain Atiku’s life to continue his good works in sports development even now as a private citizen.
