Ace Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, recently sent tongues wagging on social media after sharing a screenshot of his dad’s congratulatory message to him after he released his new album ‘More Love Less Ego’.
The post by Wizkid revealed the moment the proud father saluted his son and wished the Grammy Awards winner many more successes as he grew older and wiser.
His dad wrote, ” Ayo, congratulations for launching your new Album successfully today. Wishing you more…”
The Afrobeat singer, who couldn’t hide his joy over the fact that his father acknowledged his work, decided to share his dad’s text and described him as his hero in the caption of the post.

Reacting to the post shared by Wizkid, Nigerians trooped to his comment section to congratulate him, with some of the netizens who commented noting it was the first time they would see the singer share such an emotional and personal moment with his father on social media.
