Wizkid, Rema, thrill crowd at ‘Oh My! music festival’ in Netherlands

Wizkid, whose effort in Chris Brown’s latest song ‘Call Me Everyday’ was slammed by singer, Magixx, collaborated with Rema at the Netherland event

Ace Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, and upcoming music sensation, Divine Ikubor, aka Rema, took the international audience by storm when they collaborated on stage at the ‘Oh My! music festival’. 

The music festival, which was held over the weekend at the Feyenoord Stadium in the Netherlands, saw various music acts including the Nigerian duo of Rema and Wizkid thrill music lovers during the concert.

A viral video from the event which surfaced online showed the moment Wizkid joined Rema on stage, embraced him, and went on to perform his hit song ‘Soco’ with him. 

The two talented Nigerian singers, as expected, gave an energetic display during their collaborative performance, and the cameraman made sure he captured the dance moves.

The online community later reacted to the video after surfacing online, as they took to different social media platforms to hail Wizkid and Rema for the collaborative effort and for supporting each other. 

Meanwhile, another upcoming singer, Magixx, who is signed to Don Jazzy’s label, made headlines after labeling Wizkid’s latest collaboration with Chris Brown as ‘stupid’ in a now-deleted tweet.  

His comment came after Wizkid was featured on Chris Brown’s newest music project “Call Me Everyday”, a song that is currently making waves on major streaming platforms across the globe. 

Meanwhile, at a ceremony held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, United States on Sunday, June 26, Wizkid’s song “Essence” which featured Tems and Justin Bieber won the 2022 BET Awards in the Best Collaboration category.  

Other groups nominated in this category are DJ Khaled featuring Lil Baby & Lil Durk, Baby Keem & Kendrick Lamar, Doja Cat featuring  SZA, Drake featuring Future & Young Thug, and Bia featuring Nicki Minaj
