Wizkid calls fellow singer, Wande Coal “love of my life”

Wizkid had in several interviews admitted that Wande Coal was one of his biggest music influences

Ace Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has caused a buzz on social media after describing his colleague, Wande Coal in an affectionate manner.

Taking to his Instagram story on Tuesday, January 2, Wizkid shared a picture of himself and the ‘Bumper 2 Bumper’ crooner, declaring him as “love of his life.”

Recall that this is not the first time Wizkid is talking about his relationship with Wande Coal and the special bond that they share.

The ‘Essence’ crooner had in several interviews admitted that Wande Coal was one of his biggest music influences.

Recently the award winning Grammy artiste featured him on the song, “Ololufe” from the highly anticipated Soundman Vol 2 EP, a piece co-produced by Olajumoke Olayiwola & P.Priime.

Prior to this, the duo had other collaborations such as ‘Ebelebe’, ‘For Me’ and ‘Streets’.

After the post on Wande Coal made the rounds online, netizens who had earlier aimed a dig a Wizkid after he was seen enjoying himself at a club with Afrobeats diva, Tiwa Savage, once again related Wizkid’s post to the mother of his two children, Jada and accused him of his maltreating her.
