At last, young and energetic Chuks Uche has emerged winner in the Alive Media Talent Search (Almetase) which took place at the weekend, Saturday, March 23rd, 2019.
The third audition edition of the gospel talent search held on Thursday, March 14th, 2019 produced 4 finalists, from where Uche, a bundle of musical talent emerged on Saturday.
The 4 finalists were: Chuks Uche, Leye Peters, Duru Delight, and Nimnu Timothy.
They were the contestants that qualified to enter the Almetase academy from among over 32 youths that participated in the competition.
The 4 emerged after a strong, breath-taking contest among the six remaining contestants held at General Assembly Parish of The Redeemed Church of God, Lagos Province 58 Headquarters, Gimti, Ikorodu, Lagos state.
Expectedly, each of the 4 contestants displayed their musical talent before the ecstatic audience and were applauded.
But Uche displayed unmatched performance to the satisfaction of all that when he was announced the winner of the competition there was no objection from the jubilant spectators.
Nimnu Timothy came second, Leye Peters (third) while the last woman standing, beautiful Delight Duru took the fourth position.
As the winner, Uche is expected to receive: studio recording time, 6 track leases, professional photo shoot, Art and graphics design, a music video and musical tours.
All the finalists will have their songs in debut album according to the brain behind the project, Kelvin Nwachukwu.
“we must ensure we take them to the next level in their musical career. All the songs that they sang during the competition is original to them, we will produce the album for them. We will give them musical exposure and media publicity and I know opportunity will present itself from there.
“This is our maiden edition; I know the next one will be bigger. As I have said at different platform this is a competition that will produce great gospel singers that will use their songs to evangelize for our lord Jesus. I can assure you that the future is brighter and better for this competition” Nwachukwu told The Niche.
