Head Coach of First Bank basketball club of Nigeria Adewumi Aderemi has reiterated his team readiness to pick one of the two tickets for the final round of the 2014 Africa Champions Cup for Women as the women zone-3 qualifiers enter it second round Friday.
First Bank will engage BAC basketball club of Burkina Faso Friday morning in the reverse fixtures of the qualifiers and the team coach Aderemi has promised to make necessary correction after a shocking 65-50 points to city rival Dolphins on Thursday.
“We were a little complacent in the game against Dolphins and I want to accept responsibility for the painful lose good enough we still have a chance to remedy that situation as we will both file out again on Sunday and this time I can confidently say that we shall bounce back and make a 1-1 situation.
“It is good we will be meeting the two teams we have beaten before (BAC and AS BIA) on Friday and Saturday before the crucial one against Dolphins on Sunday and this time it won’t be easy for them.

First Bank had defeated BAC of Burkina Faso on match day-one on Tuesday by 60-41 points and must be at their very best when they confront the home side in the reverse fixtures on Friday morning before taking on AS BIA of Niger Republic on Saturday.
First Bank and Nigeria Zenith Bank Women league most valuable player Chioma Udeaja led the Elephant Girls challenge in the loss to Dolphins with 14 points and 9 rebounds.
