The All Progressives Congress has announced its national campaign council for the November 11 governorship election in Bayelsa State.
The 124-member list made available to TheNiche on Wednesday was signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu.
A previous viral list for the Bayelsa poll included the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, who had yet to formally resign from the Peoples Democratic Party. But the party distanced itself from that list.
Wike was not included in the list released by Argungu.

Gombe State Governor, Muhammad Yahaya, was named chairman of the campaign council for Bayelsa poll.
The co-chairmen are Defence Minister, Mohammed Badaru, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.
Members include Senators Bassey Otu and Adams Oshiomhole, Ben Ayade, Argungu, Betta Edu, Dakuku Peterside, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Festus Keyamo, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Tonye Cole, Tein Jack-Rich among others.
