With less than four months to the presidential election, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, is still threatening to pull down the roof of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) if the national chairman, Iyiorchia Ayu, doesn’t step down.

Yesterday, Wike played host to two governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) – Professor Ben Ayade of Cross River State and Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State.

Wike, who has been romancing members of the APC, met the two governors in his country home in Rumueprikon, Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday night.

Umahi and Ayade were former governors of PDP who joined the APC while in their second term.

There have not been any details of the meeting as of the time of filing this report.

According to reporting by Punch Newspaper, Wike’s ally and the Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, later joined the meeting.
