‘White lady’ sings Asake’s song, sends internet buzzing

A video of a ‘white lady’ who is generally known for singing Nigerian songs on her TikTok page has surfaced online, this time around she was seen singing one of the latest songs by fast-rising singer,  Asake.  

The song she chose is Asake’s ‘Peace Be Unto You’ (PBUY) and she delivered it word for word without skipping a word or line. While she also moved her body to the beat of the song inside her car.

What was most amazing is that the song has Yoruba lyrics, which she conveniently pronounced while singing, this led a lot of people to commend her for mastering a new language so fast, considering that PBUY just got released. 

The white lady was also spotted donning a tee shirt with “Lagos” boldly written on it, an act which suggests she does not only like Nigerian songs but also its culture.

Nigeria’s online community later trooped to the caucasian’s comment section to praise her mastery of the song’s lyrics, with some of them suggesting she should relocate to the country.
