Whistleblower Pidom located in police custody, as activists mount pressure for his release

A concerted effort by several activists has led to the location of Isaac Bristol known by his X handle name Pidom in police custody.

Pidom went missing on August 5. On August 23, 18 days after his disappearance causing investigative journalist David Hundeyin to raise an alarm.

Other activists, including Omoyele Sowore, Deji Adeyanju and Fisayo Soyombo started making frantic efforts to locate him.

Hundeyin first published the news of PIDOM’s arrest on his Substack website, asserting he was picked up in Port Harcourt on August 5 and has been given an administrative bail with conditions that were nearly impossible to meet.
