The ex-intelligence chief, retired Commodore Kunle Olawunmi, has arrived at the Military Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) at the Defence Headquarters to answer questions over the interview he granted Channels Television.
He was accompanied by Femi Falana, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN), and Abubakar Marshall, also a lawyer.
According to Sahara Reporters, a source told it that the: “Navy Commodore Kunle Olawunmi has arrived at the military DIA in Abuja. He was accompanied by his lawyers. They initially declared him wanted but downgraded it when the plot was leaked,” the source told the online medium.
Olawunmi had revealed that sponsors of Boko Haram are known to the Nigerian government, and some of them holding top positions in the Buhari administration.
