Deborah Yakubu was stoned to death and her body set ablaze by her coursemates who accused her of blasphemy against Prophet Muhammed on Thursday.

Abayomi, a human rights activist who expressed concern over the issue said those who keep talking of the so-called “blasphemy” should please tell Nigerians what a 22-year-old innocent girl said with premeditated malice against Islam that will warrant the extreme cruelty of stoning her to death in an education institution funded by the State.

“What did she say to warrant the burning of her dead body after the cruelty with eight tires. Where is the conscience in the Islam of her killers? In the name of God tell us if your daughter should deserve such barbarity?” Abayomi asked those that are defending the murder in the name of religion.
