This Delta State-born young man, who shot into limelight in 2013 with Rihanna, became a household name when he dropped ‘Shoki’.
Born as Esegine Orezi Allen, he decided to adopt Orezi, believing it is the most suitable out of his names. As other versions of ‘Shoki’ are being produced, Orezi is of the opinion that nobody can lay claim to it because it is a street language. The greatest achievement for this artiste, who also dreams of performing on the stage Chris Brown had performed, is having the chance to actually do what makes him happy – music.
The Merrybet ambassador disclosed that the most expensive item he has purchased was his N7 million car.
His recent album, GhenGhen, gulped over N4 million yet he does not charge money to feature in other people’s songs.
Although a celebrity, he still finds time to enter the kitchen to prepare spaghetti and chicken sauce.
A word for his haters: “I love them; they keep me on my two feet. Without them, there is no me; so they should keep hating.”
