Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said that with the recent passage into law of the electoral amendment ACT of 2010, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, now has the powers to conduct elections by electronic voting which in turn will make for freer and fairer elections in Nigeria. In the video, Saraki also said that the Senate under his leadership has legalized the use of smart card readers to improve the electoral system and check sharp practices that occurred during the last elections in Nigeria.
