Some Manchester United fans may wish Danny Welbeck never left, and it appears the player’s move has gone unnoticed at the England headquarters.
The former Reds striker sealed a move to the Emirates on deadline day.
His performances have impressed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, and the forward scored his first career hat-trick in their Champions League game with Galatasaray.
It has left a number of Reds supporters even more sceptical of getting rid of Welbeck, especially at £16m.
But it seems Welbeck’s form for his new team didn’t register with somebody at the FA; the teamsheet announcing the squad for the upcoming games still lists the player as a Red.
