Waje hails Davido after getting a surprise gift 

Waje first gained recognition after she featured on the remake of P-Square’s ‘Omoge Mi’. She also featured on the duo’s 2008 hit track ‘Do Me’

Ace Nigerian singer Waje has praised her colleague, David Adeleke better known as Davido, following a recent surprise gift she got because of him. 

She subsequently took to social media, to pen sincere appreciation and reveal how she was given a gift because of words Davido had spoken about her in the past. 

According to the popular singer, who had nothing but good words to say about the DMW label boss, she was honoured with a pair of diamond earrings because of Davido 

She went on to say she was not on ground when the ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ crooner eulogised her, but felt honoured by the words he spoke about her.

The mother of one then labelled the talented musician and record label owner a gift to mankind. 

Waje said, “Imagine walking out of a place feeling, honoured, and with a pair of beautiful diamond earrings cos of @davido‘s kind words about u.

“I’ve been in this game a long time, not every1 will honour u when you aren’t present in the room. David, you are truly a gift.” 

Waje whose real name is Aituaje Iruobe is a popular Nigerian musician whose vocal range covers three octaves.
