Social media activist Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, arrived at the National Assembly on Monday in the company of a traditional priest and his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju.
The House of Representatives had on Friday summoned EFCC’s Chairperson Ola Olukoyede, VeryDarMan and Bobrisky over the allegations of bribery involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS).
The development comes after VDM posted an audio recording on Instagram where Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, claimed in the leaked audio that he offered bribes to those agencies.
He has however disclaimed the voice, alleging it was AI-generated.
Recall that Bobrisky was arrested and convicted for naira abuse.
The recording captures Bobrisky discussing how EFCC officials received N15 million to drop money laundering charges, and how an unnamed godfather of his arranged for him to serve his six-month jail term at a private apartment.
