Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, received massive cheers in Kano during the party’s rally at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Wednesday, January 4.
Tinubu’s campaign train rode in open-roof vehicles on its way to the stadium where thousands of supporters were gathered.
The 16,000 seating-capacity stadium was fully occupied, the main bowl filled to every inch, with spill over outside the stadium.

Recall that in the 2019 presidential election, nearly two million voters trooped out to cast their votes in Kano as against about one million Lagosians who voted in the same election.
In the election, President Muhammadu Buhari defeated his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar by more than one million votes in Kano and proceeded to win the election with a margin of 3.9 million.
