The name Nyesom Wike can wrought miracles, if the tales of an Ahoada Chief is to be believed.
Wike is the governor of Rivers State and the de-facto leader of the G-5, a group of governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in opposition to the presidential candidate of their party, Atiku Abubakar.
In a viral video, an Ahoada chief tells the governor during a visit to commission a project that a woman who had complications in giving birth simply screamed his name thrice and delivered safely.
The priest said to the chagrin of Wike: “As at yesterday night there was a lady in labour. The lady tried, she couldn’t put to bed. They have already prepared the theatre for her to be operated this morning. But because the nurses hearing that you are coming to Ahoada today, they were discussing that ‘our governor is coming to Ahoada today, this man likes Ahoada people.’
