Relief came the way of a commercial bus driver, Osinachi Ndukwe, who served three months in prison and got his vehicle auctioned at a giveaway price.
While in prison, Ndukwe, also suffered another tragedy. His sick daughter died.
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, Olajide ‘Jandor’ Adediran, condemned the auctioning of the vehicle of Ndukwe, and other Lagosians, saying the punishment was harsh.
Jandor however, kicked against reckless driving and violation of traffic laws.
Jandor and his running mate Olufunke Akindele, visited Ndukwe and another driver, Lateef Kolapo. The vehicles of the two drivers were auctioned for traffic offences on Friday.
