Two months after splashing millions in a grand wedding, Lagos socialite, Farida Sobowale, attempted suicide, Rhursdsy night.
According to a trending video, the socialite was physically prevented from plunging into the Lagoon to end her life by at least five men.
A Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, said she was on the phone with the socialite few minutes before the suicide attempt, not knowing that her friend was planning something sinister.
Sobowale is the Chief Executive Officer of House of Phreeda, a skincare outfit.
She arrived at the Third Mainland Bridge, parked her Lexus SUV and attempted to jump into the Lagoon when some men held her back.
