A man arrested by a police officer for an undisclosed crime has issued a cold and deadly threat to the police officer that arrested him.
In a video of the incident shared on X by former chairwoman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Lauretta Onochie, the man handcuffed to a police patrol truck told the police officer who arrested him that he would return in less than one year and return to exact revenge on the policeman and his family.
Here’s the exchange that ensued between the suspect and the policeman.
The man said: “If I come out I go change am for you oh.”
Policeman replied: “As you dey run na so police go dey catch you.”
The man added: “If I come back from station I go change am for you oh.”
Policeman responded: “If you come back make you know say I no be officer.”

The man then threatened: “Na Nigeria we dey. I go serve one year I go come back. I know wetin I go do you, you and your family.”
Policeman responded: “I go dey check you every morning. (Used his finger to touch his lips as sign of being serious.) If you come back make you no say I no be officer.
The man replied: “No worry. My men go come for me. You go see. Dem go release me and I go come back for you.”
