Football Pundit and former Arsenal captain, Robin van Persie has suggested Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, will not want to face the only surviving Dutch club in the last 16 of the Europa League.
The Red Devils defeated Barcelona 2-1 in the playoff second leg at Old Trafford on Thursday night and qualified for the rounds of 16 on a 4-3 aggregate score, having drawn 2-2 at Camp Nou a week ago.
With the draw for the round of sixteen scheduled to be held on Friday, Ten Hag after eliminating Barcelona said he does not care who his side face in the next round.

However, while he was making the assertion, Van Persie, who was interviewing him after the game on BT Sport, interjected, “I think Erik wants to play against anyone except one team. Who’s that? Feyenoord!”
Reacting to the suggestion, Ten Hag laughed and replied: “I go to [Robin] to get all the information! No, I think it’s a possibility.”
Van Persie has been coaching at Feyenoord since retiring, though there certainly will not be any divided loyalties if the two teams were to face off.
