Uzoho, Yusuf and Sadiq’s arrival means the number of players in the Super Eagle’s camp have gone up to 22

The number of players in the Super Eagles’s camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) have risen to 22 after the trio of Francis Uzoho, Alhassan Yusuf and Umar Sadiq joined others.
With twenty-two players now in the team’s camp ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, it means only three players are yet to report.
Talismanic forward, Victor Osimhen and vice-captain William Troost-Ekong are expected to join Uzoho, Yusuf, Sadiq and other teammates in camp today, according to media officer, Babafemi Raji.

However, the arrival date of Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, who is nursing a minor injury is still unknown.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will have two training sessions today, Thursday, January 4.
The team had their first training session ahead of the competition on Wednesday.
Peseiro’s men are in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
They will start their quest for a fourth AFCON title against Equatorial Guinea on January 14.
