A massive crowd showed up at the Labour Party (LP) presidential rally in Owerri, the Imo State capital today, December 6.
The LP candidate, Peter Obi, was earlier received by Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport along with some state officials.
Uzodimma, a member of the APC, gave Obi a hug before Obi departed to the campaign rally venue.
Obi, along with other officials of the Labour Party, rode in a motorcade to the Kanu Nwankwo Sports Centre in Owerri.

The LP candidate and his entourage walked into the open field to acknowledge cheers from the thousands of supporters who came to grace the event.
The mammoth crowd, one of the biggest so far, looked excited and active throughout the event, an indication of Obi’s acceptance.
Analysts have projected that the former Anambra State Governor would likely sweep the South East overwhelmingly, and also likely edge the other candidates in the South-South, plus a good showing in Benue and Plateau States.
