The University of Nigeria, Nsukka is the best in Nigeria and among the 20 universities in Africa to be so ranked based on quality of citations from publications.
The school has just been ranked number one in Nigeria, and No 17 in Africa based on citations from publications, a direct measurement of quality of research output for the year.
The university is the only one in Nigeria in the top 20 ranking in Africa, according to report from the institution.
