Unakalamba

An aspirant to represent Mbaitoli-Ikeduru in the House of Representatives, National Assembly, Chief Ambrose Unakalamba, has called on the people of Imo State to support  Prince Eze Madumere, the present deputy governor of Imo State, to succeed the incumbent governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, in 2019.

He described the deputy governor as “the most experienced and most qualified” to take the state to the next level.

Unakalamba made the appeal after a court session in Imo State High Court, Owerri, Imo State on Wednesday.

Unakalamba also commended Imolites for defending Madumere in the raging illegal plot to remove him from office, even as he described the judiciary as the last hope of any citizenry who feels unfairly treated by power-drunk pseudo-leaders.

He said that he believed that justice would be done at the end of the day and that Madumere would be vindicated.

He also called on the Imolites to support the Deputy Governor in his ambition to become the governor of the state in 2019 for his vision, experience and competence as an astute administrator, assuring that he will restore the dignity of the people and put the state back on the path of progress.

He said that Madumere as a selfless public servant is among the few deputy governors in Nigeria who delivered the goods to the people despite the constitutional limitations of deputy governors.

On why he wants to represent Mbaitoli federal Constituency at the National Assembly, he averred that he has the requisite knowledge of how to make the best of opportunities at the legislative arm of government to better the lots of the people.

As an economist with cognate experience in the oil sector, he promised to use his knowledge in wealth creation in joining other like minds to sponsor bills that will not only benefit the masses but will stabilize the economy.
