UN accredits SWEEP Foundation in special consultative status

It was a special day for the President and members of SWEEP Foundation when words came that the United Nations has accredited the NGO as an organisation in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the World body.
The president of SWEEP Foundation, Ambassador Phillips Obuesi expressed gratitude to the UN for such recognition which he said would be a good capital for the NGO that drives on waste removal and clean environment to thrive.
On receiving the letter that conveyed the message, Amb. Obuesi and others members became estatic and jubilant and promised to latch on UN recognition to ensure improved ways of waste removal to achieve cleaner environment in Cities, University campuses and in communities in Nigeria.
